Watermelon slushy with a secret ingredient

Classy watermelon slushy for a friend's party that has a zing twist of pickled ginger incorporated in it. Fresh mint adds another twist to the flavor, it's impossible not to fall in love with this refreshing watermelon sorbet.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Watermelon (frozen overnight or for at least 8 hours)
  • 1 Candied ginger
  • 1/4 bunch fresh mint (fresh)

Instructions

  • Prepare your ingredients. Cut and freeze watermelon overnight in a freezer (8 hours of freezing is minimum in case you forget to do that a day before). Put frozen watermelon in a blender or food processor, add diced candied ginger and few leaves of fresh mint.

  • Pulse to reach desired consistency. Do not over blend otherwise, you will have watermelon smoothie instead. Serve immediately, decorate with mint leaves.
